Art trade situation advice?
First of all. I am not sure where that question would fit as it isn't bussiness, I think? So feel free to delete it if it's against.
I'm close with terms of art trades and art community. Just that situation make me second guess myself as I haven't that happening in quite time.
SO FOR ADVICE-
I and other person agreed to do art trade, we haven't told what we are doing. Just threw cat ocs.
Now I've started first, and person forgot about that art trade after few days, I just wanted to finish another art on my to do list.
I've done wip of full body.
Today they sent wip of half body I think? (Only ona the front leg appear, it'a cleae cat is sitting.
But if they trully only do the half, would I be an ass if in the end I crop the full to be on similar?
Cause I have feeling I got a bit disrespected or a bit under valued.
I could say something now but it was few hours already, they say they wouls finish tomorrow. I hate confrontation and I am not sure if it will be what I got now. Especially as we did not talked upon about what we expecting.. if I have I would try start convo gently tomorrow, just thinking if I am overreacting as artist
If this is already sealed, accept the peg and move on!
