Hi all! My kids are quite young, 5.5 and 2 but for those of you with older kids or kids who have moved out, how do you do it?

Life with two little ones right now is hard but so rewarding. I’ve even told my therapist, even though it’s hard.. I can’t imagine my life being anything other than what it is right NOW. Emotionally, how do you deal with being around them daily to just …not?

My spouse and I have some strained relationships with our parents so all we know is seeing them for holidays and birthdays. I know this isn’t how we will be as parents with older kids or even adult kids but it’s difficult for me to imagine what it’s actually like!
