Blackened rock of beautiful colors
Laid with me
Basking light
Alit the abyss like hot summer’s leaked oil
Crossed arms
Tight lips
Brilliant the rainbow that only light evokes
Intentionlessly showed
Life under gloomed stratum
All I see are beautiful colors of a black rock
Onyx’s aurora

I stain the leaves I run past
Leaving you a trail
I glimpse my footsteps
To assure your chase

I reach through the holes you’ve cut
Clutching my innards to my vacant body
My hands pump my squeezing heart
Blood, like a flower seed, graces the ground
Grasping at air to pull it to my still lungs

For you, my love
I prolong my death
Knowing the hunter
Stops hunting
After the kill
