I was wondering if it would be worth it to swap my tired 305 SBC and 700r4, that’s going out, with a good running 454 big block and 4L80e. I know some work will need to go in to change driveshaft lengths, crossmembers, and fuel pump but would it be worth it?

Edit: I’m also wondering if it would be worth it to buy now and save up until I have more money to do the rest of the swap, probably 1-2 years.
