Time and time again I've seen videos from people saying how instead of staying at one company for years on end it is better to leave after 2/3 years and look for a job elsewhere such that you can ask for a (higher) salary increase. Given that I have no personal experience with this and nobody that I personally know has gone through it either I wanna know whether this is actually true or not.
I must note that a lot of the videos I saw of people saying this were a) mainly on social media (so idk how trustworthy they are) and b) all american so maybe it works differently than in europe.
