To claim not having to pay CGT, do owners have to stay initially for the first 6 months or just stay there however long we want eg 2 months. Back then everyone said to stay specifically 6 months but is there a restriction on how many months you should stay before you rent out? I cant find it anymore on the ATO website that says u have to minimum stay for xyz months.
Has anyone realised recently AMEX revised their singing up bonus? I noticed the amex velocity platinum card is now only 50k bonus points and I'm pretty sure it was higher before ~around 60-70k. Likewise their business card offering 200k velocity bonus points has reduced to 150k. Do you guys think its because of the mastercard surcharge fee thats decreasing interchange fees for bank? whats everyone thoughts of the future for bonus sign up points, will we get more cashback rewards instead? (shit imo)
