This game only gets more amazing the more I play and so far im loving every minute. But I have questions that need answering that have nothing to do with gameplay, and I'm hoping you savants might know:
From my understanding, this game takes place in the 90's. But that does not explain to me why my guy sounds almost perfectly like Matthew Broderick. I love the man's work, I do not say this as a bad thing. It's just so damn close its jarring. But not just him, I must know before it drives me insane: Chris/Kris/Kriss/(?). The woman in the Cosmic Companions dev vlog. She also sounds exactly like another voice/character from the 90s/2000's except her I cant nail down and it really is frustrating the hell out of me. Do one of you hear it too? Its another character from a cartoon or video game (gambling odds probably land it as a Tara Strong character) It's just uncanny how similar they are.
Reason im asking is because I feel like im being duped here. Are these people real people? or are these AI generated hallucinations of mine? The world is becoming a strange place very quickly. Im just trying to enjoy an awesome game, but holy crap their voices are like...almost plagiarized.
