After a disappointing hair transplant and further hair loss as a side effect of Accutane I think that a hairsystem would be a good option for me. I also considered an SMP but a lot of people on the SMP sub told me it wouldn’t be a good idea. With a hair system I know I could get the look I always wanted but there are a few things I’m concerned about.
My scalp tends to get oily one day after washing it - could this be a problem while wearing a hair system since it’s supposed to be taped/glued on for 1-2 weeks ?
How difficult is it to do the maintenance on your own ? Also is it better to go with tape or glue ? I wonder which one would be easier to do on your own.
Is there anything I could do to avoid the hair losing its color ? Like for example wearing a cap when it’s sunny outside, being gentle with it, not washing too much etc. ? Or is that inevitable?
