Just finished reading Brighton rock and I have very mixed feelings.

I thought the story was really good and loved Ida as well as the rest of the mob, however I felt very little for rose and absolutely nothing for Pinky so hard for it to be anything more than 3* when I just did not care about the two main characters

Would love to hear other people’s opinion on the book

Next book - master & margarita

Going to be in Glasgow tomorrow for work and will have some time to kill

Any good watch shops I should be visiting
Bonus for cheaper gems not looking to drop a lot of money even if it is fun to look at the expensive ones

To give an example I read white nights by Dostoyevsky a couple years ago and don’t think the book would of hit half as hard if I had read it 5 years earlier or later

Do other people have these books that came along at the perfect time

Can’t make it to a show anymore and sold the tickets through TM.

Just wondering how long this usually takes to be paid into my bank account as there timeframe of 17 days seems like a very long time and an over estimate for safety

I bought a new watch on Vinted and was told by a friend who knows a lot more about watches that what I bought was a fake beyond question

The seller has already sent the item, how is best to go about getting my money back?

I sold a bunch of items and withdrew the money 3 weeks ago and still have not received it.

Vinted support refuse to help and tell me they need a written and signed letter from my bank telling them that the money was not received after I’ve already sent bank statements proving this

They also refuse to send any proof of payment which my bank would need to send the letter that is needed

So has anyone got a better way to contact Vinted UK as I’m done talking to the single braincell that answers support every couple hours
