Looking for early testers for my AI job-impact app

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for early users for my iOS app, How Far: AI Jobs Clock.

Despite the slightly dramatic name, the app is not trying to scream “the robots are coming” at you before breakfast. The idea is more practical: help people understand how AI may affect their job, role, skills, and next career move.

What the app does:

- Signals

A feed of AI/job-impact signals from articles, videos, and podcasts. You can filter by source and format, so it is not just one big pile of AI headlines.

- Occupations

Browse roles and see how different jobs may be exposed to AI, automation, and changing workflows.

- Risk Radar

A personal assessment that looks at your tasks, skills, and work context instead of only your job title.

- Resume Profile

Import a resume and get a career-oriented view of strengths, risks, and possible directions.

- Evidence Finder

A tool for finding source-backed excerpts about AI’s impact on a role or field. I built this partly for people who need to prepare work reports, strategy notes, career research, or “what is changing in our industry?” material.

What I’m looking for:

  1. Does the Toolkit feel useful, or is it too abstract?

  2. Would you use Evidence Finder for work reports or career research?

  3. Is the app too doom-ish, too serious, or actually helpful?

  4. What would make the Pro features feel worth paying for?

If you’re interested in trying the app and giving feedback, comment here or DM me. I can also help early testers try the Pro features.

Thanks — I’m especially interested in blunt feedback. Polite is optional, useful is preferred
