Another else feel like the people in the UK have a cultural problem but mistakenly it keeps being labeled as a racial one?
Hi all,
The reddit algorithm has gotten me full hold and I have seen such extreme views in this reddit about the recent politics on my suggested.
It's made me sad to see people who if they met in real life would likely get along become so divided on political opinion or ideology. I don't know why but for years race has always been the thing coined around especially when it comes to immigration.
I think people need to wake up and realise the issue isn't and has never been to do with race or skin colour but cultural integration. I have met during my years many people from a classical minority background generally 2nd or 3rd generation immigrants and they are some of the nicest and hardest working people I have ever met. What did we have in common? They liked the same things as me, they did the same things as me, they shared similar views or were willing to understand each other's different views respectfully. We need to stop calling people racist for having an issue with unregulated immigration and the culture conflicts we all see thats an entirely different thing.
But at the same time the people tarnishing all people from the same region with a brush need to wake up and realise if that person next to them had the same culture as them in another time they could have been best friends.
Not sure what I am aiming to achieve in this post except for just trying to raise awareness that skin colour is never the issue it's the culture and seeing what others think? If we put effort into integrating good values into everyone then we could finally have this multi cultural society we keep hearing. I think the issue we are seeing are people coming to the UK without the intention of integrating or learning British culture.
Anyway thats it from me. If anyone has any thoughts would love to hear them. Am I the only one that thinks race is so weaponised the general people are being manipulated and missing the point entirely and see that culture is the issue here?
