Piccolo's moon busting feat?

Piccolo's moon busting feat?

How would you genuinely, honestly, calc this and why? I've seen it scaled anywhere from Small to Large Planet level and even some downplay saying it's ONLY moon level despite the timeframe and complete obliteration of the moon.

Wouldn't a moon vaporizing blast like at MINIMUM severely damage the Earth?

I just like bubble a lot ok

I still don't really care much for Zooble but she's the only one who ever consistently stands up to Jax so she has my respect.

I know people hate how Saiyans get a ton but my biggest ask is for Legendary Super Saiyan PLEASE Bandai!

I don't need the giant form. I know that's probably be annoying to do. Just let me be a green Super Saiyan. I NEED this. I WANNA BE A LEGENDARY SUPER SAIYAN!

Not the pale, snot yellow-green version either! ACTUAL Green!

Oh and artist source is Zarpzy!

A bit of a pet peeve of mine but I feel like not using the TP logo on our Masters was a missed opportunity

Replacing the logos that tons of characters have with the Time Patrol Logo would done a lot for immersion imo. It'd make the masters feel more displaced from time and like they're living legends that were salvaged from timelines that had to be corrected by the Time Patrol. It'd also help differentiate our Masters from the "canon" ones living their lives in the normal timelines.

I know it's not THAT big of a deal but with our CACs having a permanent home, it'd be nice if we had that sense of unity with these characters like we're in this together instead of them just sort of being here visiting.

For characters like Whis and Beerus I understand not having that change but for others like the main cast, it'd feel really cool. I dunno. I'm probably just being silly.

What are your thoughts? Am I just INSANE or SILLY or do you think it'd be cool too?

A big problem for me with a lot of the comic characters is none of them really feel like they fit well design wise with the broader franchise. Their designs stick out in a way that I feel doesn't really mesh well, kind of like the Lost World alien things or Ray The Squirrel. Even Surge's sidekick Kit really sticks out like a bad OC, like someone took a screenshot MS paint edit and made it a real character, but for some reason Surge fits REALLY well and I've got no clue why.

I know you guys definitely know a lot more than me about the franchise as a whole, and I know some of you art artists, so I was wondering if you guys had any input on why that might be. It's kind of frustrating to me why I can see her standing side by with Sonic and friends but not someone like, say, Whisper. Maybe she fits a certain design philosophy that I'm just more familiar with in terms of Sonic characters?

So I'll list the major issues about this particular Spirit Bomb. (Nobody cares about Z anime scaling. It does random shit with statements all the time. Universal 2nd form Freeza.)

  1. Gohan contributed energy to it. This is the first logical error to this. Not only should Gohan's energy be more than enough since Goku hadn't gained any extra power between trying to weaken Super Buu(who he was afraid of) but Goku believes that if he gets enough time to charge up his ki, he can finish Buu off. The main issue seems to be Kid Buu's regeneration which Goku simply can't overcome and he believes that he could still kill Kid Buu. Whether this is correct or not, we never get to see.
  2. Goten and Trunks neither fused nor transformed to contribute to the Super Spirit Bomb. This is a HUGE and GLARING issue in itself. If power level mattered when contributing to the Spirit Bomb, they should have fused and went SS3. At the very least, the kids should have become SS1 to contribute. This, at minimum, suggests that the Super Spirit Bomb doesn't work based off power level at all. At worst, it'd be a pointless effort since Gohan is many times stronger than anybody else contributing.
  3. At this point, the entire cast of fighters, humanity's population, Namek's population, and the various living residents of the Afterlife shouldn't come close to any of the top tiers even with their energy combined. The strongest living fighters after Gohan are SS3 Gotenks, SS3 Goku, SS2 Vegeta, and then distantly Piccolo. A big issue with Piccolo here is that the Saiyans are still confident they can win against Piccolo AND 18 despite being given the handicap of no Super Saiyan forms. Another moment supporting this is that Piccolo is taken out with Krillin on Babidi's orders because they consider him too weak to contribute meaningfully to Majin Buu's resurrection. This one doesn't make a lot of sense as Piccolo and 18 should be quite a bit stronger than their base forms but, assuming this is true, this would mean they don't come close at all to their current Super Saiyan 1 forms. The multipliers are simply too large. Even if we assume they're both still SS1 level, they stop being meaningful additions in power with the existence of Gohan and the use of Fusion.
  4. Even Goku suggests getting Gohan and Gotenks to finish the job instead. This is a huge nail in the coffin for the Super Spirit Bomb being necessary. We know SS3 Gotenks scales to Super Buu and had the opportunity to finish him off but lost his transformation at the last second. Ultimate Gohan then completely trashes on Super Buu, easily doing similar damage with his fists what Gotenks has been doing with his most powerful attacks. If these two were too weak to contribute to the fight, there'd be no point even suggesting them.
  5. Goku can sense Kid Buu's power level. This is the worst one for Kid Buu and the Spirit Bomb, in my opinion. It's as simple as this. We KNOW Goku doesn't get stronger than Super Buu as he senses Buu and knows the gap is too far, going as far as to say they'd definitely die. Kid Buu later shows up and doesn't gain any traits that would prevent power level sensing yet Goku believes if he had a minute of charge time, he could kill Kid Buu. On top of that, he's sure Potara would do it too. Again, Goku is STILL confirmed weaker than Super Buu seconds before Kid Buu shows up. This suggests that even if, somehow, Kid Buu was stronger than Buuhan he wouldn't be much stronger to the point that Vegetto couldn't handle him easily.
  6. Narrator glaze is the only thing defending Kid Buu. This is the only defense Kid Buu and the use of the Spirit Bomb has. It has no explanation or justification in universe and is even contradicted by people IN-UNIVERSE but people use the Narrator saying "Kid Buu and Goku are the strongest" as evidence despite being contradicted by a post fusion Goku saying he'd lose to Super Buu minutes before their fight.
  7. The narrative goes to great lengths to prevent direct help for Goku and Vegeta until the end. If Kid Buu was truly stronger and the Super Spirit Bomb was necessary, the Potara, Gotenks, and Gohan all could have been used and not mattered. Not only does Kibito Kai suddenly not have enough energy(somehow) to bring a healer or new Potara Earrings to Goku but Kid Buu's introduction has Goku and Vegeta conveniently don't grab the three fighters that are, at this point, more useful than Goku is when Kid Buu destroys the Earth. They also destroy the Potara over pride, despite being able to sense Kid Buu's power level, and they once again avoid bringing in the objectively stronger fighters of Gohan and Gotenks to kill Kid Buu. All of this to avoid using fusion or Gohan in the fight with Kid Buu.
  8. 17 and 18 have infinite energy and could have endlessly supplied the Spirit Bomb. They didn't so it must use a different form of energy rather than simply ki. Considering Goku can get energy from the planet, plants, and generally nature itself, it's pretty likely.
  9. Finally, there's a meta reason why they'd use the Spirit Bomb instead. Ultimately, this is a fictional work that exists to make money. If Gohan and Gotenks showed up and just killed Kid Buu, it'd be retreading old ground and would make for kind of a poor finale. Feel free to ignore this point since it's not in universe but I do believe it's what contributed to the nonsensical hyping up of the final battle when, logically, there weren't really any stakes.

All of this shows that the Super Spirit Bomb was, in fact, not necessary despite the narration claiming otherwise. Goku's words against it, Ki sensing, direct statements by Goku saying he'd be killed by Super Buu, no power ups, no additional aide, and the threat of an unsatisfying ending all go against the idea that Kid Buu is magically more powerful than Buuhan.

The only potential threat to Gohan and Gotenks would be the Candy Beam and absorption.

As for the Spirit Bomb, it cannot physically be much stronger than Gohan as he is, by far, more powerful than any and every person who'd contribute combined. It's effectively the Gohan Bomb featuring some of his friends. No transformations, two SS1 level fighters at best contributed, and the majority of the contributors are MASSIVELY weaker than Gohan here.

At best, you could argue it's about 1.25 times stronger than Gohan as he's stronger than his father in SS3, who'd be at minimum 8 times stronger than either Piccolo or 18. Base Goten and Base Trunks are 50 times below SS1. They're a rounding error. All the human fighters except maybe Tenshinhan aren't even that level. Nobody else could contribute meaningfully.

Similar to the flying Aces, The Soul was "colored in" with the magic plot device stuff that made The Roaring Knight and made Dess disappear. The reason why they're dealing with a struggle for control is that since we're a copy, we technically fit in nearly perfectly in Kris' body.
