Hi everyone! I’m currently looking into enrolling at WGU to become a High School English Teacher.

I originally applied for the program 2 years ago, having just graduated with a degree in communications (journalism) from Cal State Fullerton in California. I got accepted, but I got a promotion at my job and put those plans on hold. Now, here I am, looking into it again.

Can anyone let me know if this degree for sure lead to becoming credentialed in California? Also, if anyone has had experience applying to jobs in Southern California with this kind of degree? Is is accepted/respected at most school districts? How long did the degree take you?
