And yep, even that one requires an additional purchase/rental fee. "A Ghost Story". Not what I would think would be a major blockbuster. I honestly see no value in paying these people $200 a year, or whatever it is now. The grift they're getting away with is stunning.

Just starting out. I'm able to build a nice, professional site but don't yet want to spend the money until I know where things go. Would anyone here recommend any of the sites where you can build from a template, (Wix, Canva, etc?) - also, do you take online payments or is that sort of thing safe and/or worth it? TIA!

I’ve always considered starting and growing a small cleaning company. I love to clean, I’m excellent at it. I’ve run a few small businesses in the past as well. But I’d really love to test the waters before I start doing an LLC, obtaining bonding, insurance, etc. I’m considering not even doing a website and just listing myself locally on Nextdoor, craigslist etc. to see if I get any bites. Could a few experienced folks here tell me if this is a good idea? Of course, I realize there’s a lot of wild cards based on types of clients etc., I’m strictly asking about cleaning homes or small offices as a trial itself. I do have equipment that would be sufficient for a small business or homes. Also, I know pricing is likely all over the place. My thinking is offering basic cleaning, no deep cleaning at the moment and seeing what the local market would bare.
