Is there a way to see what I have just finished watching in the last few days?

I have been watching Season 1 of.. (can't remember the name of it)... off and on this past week, in the evenings. I have NO idea how many episodes were in Season 1, or if there was a Season 2... but I had just fallen asleep (while watching one of the episodes) when I woke up and didn't recognize the show. I tried to restart the episode, but had to back out of Prime Video and go back into it.. and can't find the show now.. and of course, I can't remember the name of it.

Is there any listing anywhere (that I can't find) that tells us what shows we have already watched? It just seems to have disappeared from sight.

To make it even stranger, I then signed into Amazon Prime Video as my husband "Who is watching? <my name> <his name> <kids - and we have no kids>

I thought MAYBE I could find the series under HIS name, but I'm not finding it there either, but to make it even stranger, hubby seems to have a LOT more shows (and better shows) than I have available in MY list of shows. I don't understand, but obviously I need to watch HIS available shows, not mine... sigh.

Hot Take

I am convinced that Amazon added these “pause ads” to prevent viewers from taking pictures/screenshots of movies and shows. It is definitely not the most effective way to stop that from happening and I don’t know why they would do that to stop it in the first place.

This is my best theory besides obviously just promoting more stuff. What do you guys think?

If anyone can guess what scene this is from I will be genuinely surprised

Also sorry for the quality 📺

A random question: Do all of you choose Amazon Prime cause of the TV shows/Movies or cause of the cheaper & faster deliveries in Amazon shopping?

For me it's the deliveries 😅, cause ngl.... except for a few shows like Reacher, Grand Tour, I don't really enjoy any of the other stuff

Songs that were not made for a movie, but became famous after it became a part of it!

Sign of the times gained way more recognition after it became a part of Project Hail Mary. Do you have any such songs in mind which became relevant and famous after it became a part of a film. I've been doing some research about it, but I would love to know what your choice of songs are so that I can include it in my research!

Not aligning Annual Ultra with Annual Prime membership seems like poor policy.

It looks like they are not doing anything to align the two. My Prime membership is up in December, so to get the annual Ultra now I would be paying for months I would not be able to use if I cancelled the annual plan in Dec. It isn't much in cost difference, but it does seem that aligning the plans would be a better policy. It reminds me of the way they implemented adding ads in the first place, though this is less nefarious than adding ads in the middle of annual memberships like they did then. It would be simple for them to do, that they don't take it into considerations says something.

Did amazon removed Ads on Prime video?

Just opened to watch a movie and there were no ads. Then I checked for every other content and surprisingly there were no ads either. What's going on?

Live sports freezing

Is anyone else having the issue where they go to watch live sports like the Yankees or the NBA playoffs and the game will play OK for a little while but the second it goes to commercial break the screen just freezes and goes black? This is getting to be really really annoying and I can’t figure out how to fix it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Judge Rinder some cases start st the end

I’ve been watching Judge Rinder on Amazon Prime. I am seeing a number of cases that start off a program are actually in the middle, or at the end of the case. Why are they not showing the whole case?

Like the episode I am watching now. The show starts and the judge says a few words to the litigants, then he makes his ruling. Why bother showing that at all? Just start the show with the start of the next case.

Anyone else getting a lot of semaglutide ads?

Around 7/10 of my ads are for some kinda semaglutide and it’s really a surprising amount, another 1/10 are for the US military. What the hell is this dystopia? Is anyone else getting this or is it just me?

What are some S Tier prime video originals

I got prime video for myself recently and I was wondering what original shows I should watch? Im just judging from posters and the little I know, but most shows I see on the recommendations seem like typical action stuff that I don’t gravitate towards.

I like shows like the boys, gen v, invincible and overcompensating (not just heroes but dark, gritty and/or thought provoking shows as well as fun comedies and dramas that have substance). I also liked movies like beautiful boy and red, white and royal blue.

I’m specifically asking for original content because third party content varies country to country and mine is more limited than I expected.

Please stop doing live sports, you are clearly ill-equipped. Thank you. -paying customer

Companies with less satellites and tech than you have managed to do it much better consistently

Nickelodeon intro is too loud

the Nickelodeon intro while watching Spongebob is extremely loud and i’m here to say something about it. My friend, his wife & child love this show & watch it frequently instead of the normal Mrs.Rachel but my easily overstimulated self feels nearly threatened every time a new episode starts. blasted with the tune of a foot loving establishment.

I’m so shocked and disappointed by this. I was looking so forward to season 2 because of her but the silver lining is that atleast childish gambino ( Donald glover) and Maya erskine are returning

It was announced over a year ago that she was appearing in season 2 ( for a whole year her name was even on the Mr and Mrs smith IMDb page, Wikipedia page, and on the cast and crew section within the show’s tab on Amazon prime video) and now suddenly when they were about to start production on season 2 she backs out of it possibly because the production of yellowjackets final season is being filmed within the same time frame

And I’ve seen the other girl in some stuff but she’s not as appealing to look at as Sophie and she doesn’t have a huge history of playing exciting likeable characters like Sophie and she’s not as well known as Sophie thatcher. It’s so obvious she’s an extreme, desperate and random last minute casting decision because the actor dropped out of the role immediately before the start of production ; more obvious than Chris Pratt voicing Mario or Garfield when he doesn’t sound like them

This is almost as worst as a news article of a show I like being cancelled
