Phd related question

Hi everyone,

A professor from DCU Business School has shown interest in supervising me and even encouraged me to apply for a PhD scholarship. I had a few questions and would really appreciate any advice or insight:

  1. Eventually, I will have to go through an interview process. What kind of questions do they usually ask prospective scholarship candidates?

  2. What type of candidates are they ideally looking for?
I have teaching and administrative experience, one publication, and a 3.2 CGPA in my master’s degree. Realistically, what are my chances?

  3. If I receive the scholarship, the stipend would be around €25,000 per annum. Would that generally be enough to cover living expenses in Dublin as an international PhD student?

Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Possible PhD opportunity

Hi, a professor from Dublin City University business school has shown interest in supervising me and even suggested that I apply for the PhD scholarship. So, I have few questions:

  1. Eventually, I will have to go for an interview. What kind of questions do they usually ask prospective scholarship candidates?

2..What type of candidates are they ideally looking for ?
Like I have teaching and admin experience and a publication under my name and 3.2 cgpa in masters. What are my chances realistically?

  1. Also, if I get the scholarship, I will receive a €25,000 per annum stipend. Will that be enough to cover my living expenses?
