Ok. Here’s the sitch and I’m going to be careful with my words so I don’t offend anyone…..
The story is kinda ass. However that’s ok because I have adhd and get bored easily so I do t mean that as a slight against the game. More a referendum on me. I have already skipped around the story a bit to get my sky mount (Soto) and obviously PoF for land mounts.
I felt super guilty so I went back to living world season 1 and I’m now currently in living world season 2. This is getting so dull at this point. All I want to do is skip ahead for the spear and the freakin turtle mount!!!!
What I enjoy most about the game is just exploring the open world, SPvp and metas. I actually enjoyed the grind to get my skyscale! These grinds put me in unfamiliar lands and it’s so much fun to stumble on some events and the occasional meta!!!
So my question is how did you play gw2? Did you finish the story in order or did you jump around only doing what you wanted to at that time? I feel like I should play the story in order but I worry about burn out.
Edit: I just want to add that this is an amazing MMO so far. It scratches an itch that hasn’t been scratched since vanilla wow 20 years ago.
