I’m not even kidding— on every essay I’ve turned in that’s like 6+ pages, different professors leave comments telling me to pursue grad school or ‘this could easily be a graduate paper’ etc.

I was planning on going to Law School, but now I’m feeling a little torn. I love close reading, theory application, and research, but I wanted to make the ‘safer’ career choice. (my parents would probably be disappointed if i chose grad school too).

Are the professors just being nice? I’ve gotten comments like that since my junior year (about to graduate now). idk I feel like my work is just average or what should be expected of a senior undergrad.

Anyway, I don’t really know what grad school entails, so if anyone feels like they want to give some advice, feel free :).
