Considering the fact that Rupert is now no longer playing this season (congrats), the Valks are in a massive bind. The logjam at the 2/3 now rears its ugly head as we have two bigs: Stokes, who is a one-way defender, and Amihere, who is likely being trained as a center and still needs time to develop

We have an abundance of wings. Zandalasini and Charles are well worth a trade at this point. If Valks are win-focused as they claim to be we have to trade for a decent, rotation, two-way center. Throw in a pick I don't care. But if the Valks are trying to win they need to make moves NOW. otherwise it's a half-assed tank.

At this point it usually feels like the TC waives are coming in quick and lineups are consolidating. Everyone mentions the "Hunger Games" posts starting but theres always like 1 or 2 waives then nothing. The first games where the 12 person lineups are due are in four days!

If it is happening--is that dev spot rule forcing teams to play chicken? A couple people theorized Kyla Oldacre was headed to a dev spot but no, she got swooped by Connecticut before Dallas had a chance (if that was their intention). I imagine right before lineups are due we see a MASSIVE waive trend and then a flurry to sign players to dev spots in the hopes to avoid teams just adding them to an open TC spot. The dynamic this year is really tense.
