Does anybody have any insight on the rules and procedures by which Sonos indexes a local library at the moment?
It worked somewhat for a while after they brought that back after the big app disaster from two years ago, but at the moment I'll be damned if I can figure out why some files and folders get added and some don't. I'm aware of the 65,000 file name limit and am not anywhere near that, even with metadata. Have two root folders set up, one gets indexed correctly, one not at all. If I start removing folders from the first one, then at some point Sonos does start indexing the second one, but never completely. Sometimes giving folders names starting with numbers (01 Music, 02 More Music etc.) seems to make a difference, soemtimes not.
Anybody else struggling with this right now? Any and all advice appreciated.
