I am someone who rides a skateboard around campus given how big it is. Sometimes there will be narrow areas where i need to slow down which is no biggie, HOWEVER it’s an issue when there’s enough room for me to go around you but i can’t because you decide to look at your phone and walk in the middle of the sidewalk which is not only inconsiderate to the flow of traffic coming towards you but people who uses E-bikes, boards etc.

I always assume that walking on the sidewalk would follow similar rules to driving, you go straight on the right side of the walk way and oncoming traffic passes on your left BUT I GUESS IM WRONG.

I have no issue dismounting and walking around you but i’ve seen people ZOOMING on things and i think it would
benefit both parties if your conversation/ doomscrolling time moved to the right side of the sidewalk so you don’t get domed by a 180lb man riding his big wheel

Side Note: Don’t stop and talk in the middle of a walkway , especially not the large staircase in the middle of campus. There’s no conversation good enough to clog a staircase you inconsiderate boob.

Thank you for your time and stay blessed.
