Recently joined a large folk group who play in the middle of fields a lot, but almost everyone still amps up usually with a battery powered roland cube or similar setup. I call it "folk" but it's more heilung than dylan.
So I need a mobile setup and fortunately I already own a rack flight case with a cool pull out handle and big wheels on it, I have an active speaker and a jackery battery I used for camping which will be able to power the speaker + the FX unit + a USB hub for my synth. The nature of the gigs they play includes a really rapid setup and packdown and they often move while playing or play in multiple spots in one day.
I'm really not up for buying a bunch of new gear because I have everything I need sonically and don't want any more clutter at home. I have the space in my case to fit the speaker and battery, the only problem is trying to stop those two items tumbling around inside the case.
back in the studio days I used to just buy a rack unit shelf then velcro tape pedals or whatever onto those. I'm wondering if I should just use pipe clamps or tie-down straps, but open to suggestions
