So, I'm rebuilding credit because of medical bills...I chose a $200 secured credit card with selfinc. I have no idea why I am limited to $200 - maybe someone call tell me? If I have $100K in the bank, why can't I walk into a bank and get a $100K secured credit card? They would make so much money from every transaction I do. It's my money...what is the risk here?

I had it for 1 month...I bought gas for my car...statement posted..paid it off. Last night I got an email saying my account was closed with no explanation - could not log in...I called them.

Fought through their voice chatbot, got through to customer care - they couldn't tell me. I got transferred to their fraud department. Took about 30 minutes.

Self: "Your card was closed and we cannot disclose why except for the fact that we could not verify your personal information"

Me: "What information? You have done a credit check, I verified my email, I verified my phone number, I received the card at my address and used it..."

Self: "I can't disclose that"

Me: "OK, this is ridiculous, just send my money back...how long does that take?"

Self: "We can't disclose that"

Me: "I give up"

What is going on? These guys are obviously not a bank, they are just marketing with a website and a process to get a card.
