How do I approach a professor for a self-designed PhD in Psychology? (International student, finishing Masters)

Hi everyone! I'm finishing my Masters in Psychology and want to pursue a self-designed PhD abroad, mainly looking at Europe. I want to cold email professors whose research aligns with mine, but I'm not sure how to go about it. A few questions:

1- How do I find the right professors to contact?

2- What should a cold email include, and how long should it be?

3- Should I mention I'm self-funded upfront or later?

My background is qualitative research. Any advice would be really appreciated! 🙏

Offering native Urdu/Punjabi seeking native English

Hey! I'm looking for a native English speaker who'd be interested in a genuine language exchange. I speak Urdu and Punjabi natively and I am working on building real English Fluency. I am planning to move to Europe for my studies and I want to stop hesitating every time I open my mouth.

In exchange I can teach you real conversational Urdu or Punjabi if you are interested but honestly even just a consistent chat buddy who's patient works for me.

Drop me a DM if this sounds like you!

Hey everyone! I'm a grad student working on my thesis and I've been struggling to find a decent place to sit and actually focus. Does anyone know of any libraries, reading rooms, or study-friendly spaces specifically in or around Phase 8? Ideally somewhere I can sit for a few hours with my laptop. Even if it's a lesser-known spot a community library, a university reading room that allows outside students, a quiet café with good wifi I'd really appreciate any suggestions

Thanks in advance
