Plant Cutting Trade

Hey Neighbors!

It’s a great time to take cuttings and do some propagation. Does anyone want to trade some cuttings?

I have Gardenias, Star Jasmine, a cool mint chocolate colored coleus, a rhizome type begonia i think it’s a Cleopatra, lambs ear and more!

I’m really interested in finding as many varieties of Coleus, Begonias and Jasmine I can collect.

I’m also willing to trade yard work for cuttings.

Begonia Rex, Rhizome Propagation

If I cut the rhizome at the blue lines, pick off a few leaves and bury the rhizomes in a proper soil mix, will they root okay?

I’m worried about having too many leaves, but don’t want to remove too many at the same time.

Any advice?
