I have no interest in using the token creation aspect of Emil, I want him in the deck for his trample application to all other creatures with +1/+1. I know my pod wouldn't care if I use this card, but is it technically against the rules in EDH? I'm hoping to start playing at my big LGS soon with randos and don't want to get called out on it.
