I joined a friend’s session in Red Dead Online. We’d never really talked, but we were on each other’s friends list.

The moment I spawned in, one of his posse members (the leader) killed me… twice… for absolutely no reason. I never even drew my weapon.

I messaged my friend asking why I got shot. He said it was a mistake — his posse leader thought some random stranger had joined.

Fair enough… but by then, I wanted payback 😄

He gave me their location, but they switched sessions before I got there. So I joined again… found the guy… and dropped him. Then one of his friends attacked me too — dropped him as well.

They kept respawning and coming back… and I kept putting them down. Probably 5–7 times.

Eventually, they stopped fighting and started running just to survive

Meanwhile, my friend stood there watching the whole thing and never fired a shot at me… and I never fired at him either.

Honestly, it felt less like PvP and more like frontier justice.

I glitched Arthur into Guarma during Chapter 2 and got completely trapped there.

Every time I tried to leave, the invisible sniper killed me and I respawned back in Guarma. I seriously thought my save was done. Loading an old save would have cost me a lot of progress — including my Legend of the East Satchel — so I decided to keep trying.

Arthur survived on canned food, I found a donkey and kept moving day and night through rough terrain. A lot of times the ground would suddenly disappear, I’d fall into the ocean, die, and respawn back in Guarma… so I had to start over again.

After what felt like an in-game week, I finally found a boat near the coast, took it, and somehow reached the mainland near Rhodes.

No cheats. No mods. Just patience, trial and error… and a very stubborn Arthur Morgan. 😄

Has anyone else ever escaped Guarma this way?
