This started as a random idea I kept coming back to. I wanted something simple where you can save small things you might want to try someday. Foods, hobbies, places, or just random ideas that usually end up buried in Notes and forgotten.

I built it using Expo and React Native and tried to keep it as lightweight as possible. The goal was to avoid making it feel like a to do list. There is no pressure and no productivity angle, just a space to collect ideas.

I also recently added widgets, which has been one of my favorite additions. It makes the app feel more present without relying on notifications, which fits the low pressure vibe much better.

The biggest thing I have learned is that simple is actually really hard. Every extra tap or bit of friction becomes obvious very quickly. Onboarding also matters much more than I expected, even for a small app like this.

It is still early, but seeing around 600 people using something I built is a great feeling. It has made about 50$ so far, which is not huge, but it feels like real validation that the idea resonates with at least some people.

Any feedback is welcome, whether positive or critical.

I realized I don’t have a productivity problem, I have an over productivity problem.

Most apps turn everything into work. Lists, deadlines, systems. Even things that were never meant to feel serious start to feel like obligations.

But the ideas I’m talking about are casual, everyday life things. What to do in your free time. Making my own bread, going to a local running meetup once, having a picnic in the park. None of that is work, so it shouldn’t feel like work to write it down.

So I built something simple. A space to collect these kinds of ideas without turning them into tasks. Honestly, the little things in life matter a lot, and they deserve a place to exist.

You can come back to them whenever you want, and when you actually do something, there’s a quiet joy in seeing it in a clean and simple with a photo or short note.

There are widgets and optional reminders, but they are meant to feel like a gentle nudge, not pressure. Just enough presence so ideas don’t disappear.

It should feel fun to write things down, not like managing another system.

Still early, would love honest feedback. Does the idea make sense or feel unclear somewhere?

Hey everyone,

I am building an app called Malu: Idea Journal and so far the ASO side is really bad. I have about 20-40 impressions a day and also the number of organic downloads is really low. But for the last few weeks I get most downloads from France and Ivory Coast.

So far I have no really good idea what keywords started ranking well, also the it the conversion rate is still pretty good (in April 14,43%).

So the question is how I can "find" the working keywords? Currently I use a free tool to manually type in and test keywords, but the tool can not "show" the working keywords for me.

Would love some advice! Also would love some feedback on the App itself if someone is interested. Does the idea make sense or feel unclear somewhere?

The App is a cute peaceful place to collect and save ideas for things to try, hobbies to explore, food to cook etc. It should feel super low pressure and like an "anti todo list".
