Hopefully Helpful Tip

I saw a post here a while back but can't find it. The poster asked about making a protein shake taste better. When I first tasted one, [I use premier protein}, I was thinking there is no way. It was the pre made shake. I bought some protein powder and it was a bit better but still not tasty by any means. Then, I found out if I put a splash of real vanilla (not artificial) it was actually really good. Now, I look forward to my shakes. I also don't like greek yogurt, so I tried vanilla in it and it's not bad at all. Now, I mix a little yogurt with protein cereal instead of milk and enjoy breakfast.

Lurker Here-Got surgery date early June

Hi all! I have been reading here for a long time to learn more about what I had just entered into. There are issues with my other acct, so I decided to make a new one to see if it will get rid of some issues and it did! I have been working hard toward my surgery date for gastric bypass since Jan of this year. I dreaded learning to eat healthy but, to my surprise, I am really enjoying learning to cook things I like but in a healthy way. Plus, I am trying new things. So far, I have lost 35 lbs just learning to eat right.

I want to thank all of you for all you have taught me. I absolutely love hearing of everyone's experiences and seeing pictures. I have gone through phases and how I thought about this. There has been something here to help me through each phase. Now, since I finally have a date for surgery, I think I'm very excited but getting anxious but I'm really not sure how I feel, to be honest.
