hi people, thought i’d type here and give you guys my story after just going through the craziest 3 weeks of my life, currently 2 weeks post op and i want people to know my experience for anyone else with severe scoliosis. i had a 2 step surgery in which i got an anterior release done in order to make my spine easier to fuse the next week, in that week of waiting before the actual fusion i was under halo traction for a week. fast forward 2 weeks from the last surgery, it’s been a struggle and continues to be a struggle but i’ve realised how worth it that it was. as much as i’m just trying to spread my experience with my story, any advice for the following weeks would be appreciated as i just got home last night. happy to answer any questions as well 🙏
