I have never owned a Gretsch but I walked into this store to look at Teles or see if they might have a SG i'm interested in, and the guys said "Have you ever tried a Brian Setzer Hot Rod, we think it's the best sounding guitar in the store". They have many more expensive guitars in this store but indeed, this one sounded and felt better than the rest. Better than the Gretsch Pro Falcon in there IMO.

They want $2,000 flat for it, which I think is a fair deal (used). 

Has my time come to own a Gretsch?
