Should I get tonsillectomy?

So this is the biggest one I’ve had so far (I know it’s not as big as some of the ones I’ve seen on here) but I’ve been getting a shit ton of tonsil stones. I can’t take this anymore. I can constantly feel something in the back of my throat. Pulled this bad boy out at my boyfriend’s house and my throat was sore all day that day.

I have big tonsils in general, and they’ve always been like that. But I guess not big enough to have them removed when I was little. Anyways, considering they are bigger and stick out more than I guess your average persons tonsils do, plus the fact I keep getting stones, should I consider getting a tonsillectomy?

The last two days I’ve woken up middle of the night with a mouth full of tonsil stones. 4-6 of them end up coming out. I hate the feeling of them in my mouth when I finally get them to come out and I’m scared to go to sleep tonight. I just hate how they feel and I know I have one stuck and I’m scared to wake up at 3 am again just to end up sucking a bunch out and having to get them out and the feeling of them in my mouth makes me sick. I’ve never had this happen to me before please help guys.

They mostly come out of a giant hole I’ve recently noticed I have in my right tonsil. Before this week, my right side of my throat was hurting for weeks.
