Hello folks,

My sister got into CUHK with a renewable scholarship for each academic year. Praise be.

I was wondering if someone had information on what it takes to be able to renew the scholarship each year.

According to my research (I found vague answers), you have to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and not fail too many subjects but apart from that its fairly stable. That right?

Secondly, as with the dorms, we have opted for a dorm with '2 year guaranteed spot' but we're not sure how likely it is that she will be able to keep her spot after that, is it highly unlikely? Have there been cases of students having to live in private accomodation for the remainder of their studies?
