So like, it’s a stereotype that beach cities are some of the best ones to live in because you feel like you’re on vacation all the time. I can’t disagree that the vibes are immaculate and that lots of investment and money comes to those places like LA and Miami that make life glamorous.

But if you’re someone that enjoys swimming right, th actual reason you’d want a beach city, I feel like southern cities with more access to lakes is the superior choice.

Freshwater is a lot nicer than salt.

The waves and currents are less dangerous

The water gets warmer faster because it’s not as deep.

Lakes feel bit sized and manageable and a lot more affordable if you actually want a water based activities lifestyle. Am I missing something?
