Couldn't Feel Contractions Last Time: Am I in Labour?
Don't know if I'm in denial or if it's happening. Last time I got into early active labour from an induction but needed a c-section, barely felt the contractions.
37 weeks today. C-section booked for 8 more days. Been feeling belly sting all day (skin stretching? Baby 97th+ percentile). SPD acting up all day. Now vagina hurts when I sit on the toilet. Belly has moved from stinging to kind of hurting. Baby active when I lie on my side where the hurt is coming from.
Can't contact OB today, they wouldn't get back to me until tomorrow. Was at the hospital for something else pregnancy-related last week that turned out to not be a concern. Don't want to go through another sleepless night for nothing.
Am I just being overly sensitive? Anyone else barely feel contractions in the past? Anything I can do to check/confirm the status better myself, short of going in? Should I wait and see?
