Merchendisers, how do you zone?
Recently hired to work midshift (12:30-9:00) merchandising but it feels like management's expectations are extremely unrealistic. We don't get our zones until 3:00, but usually get sent to club pickup until 4:30-5:00, leaving roughly 3 hours to zone our area since we're expected to finish by 8:00. We also usually get assigned 2-3 zones to complete by ourselves, such as getting HBA and grocery or paper, water, and alcohol. During that time I'm usually the only one who responds to calls over zello for spotting and member assistance and I still have to take my lunch break and final fifteen, leaving just enough time to do only one good zone of the entire area. I've noticed other people tend to just ignore the zello calls unless called upon specifically, should I just start doing that as well so I can actually finish on time? Half ass things? Any advice is welcome!
