I always struggle my SLickback hairstyle my sides (above the ear , pretty much sides) getting messy easier no matter how strong my pomade or hairspray is. I apply on damp hair and hair dry it yet it only goes perfectly for an hour.

All of the side hairs goes below my ear. Should it be shorter or something? Is it too heavy to cause this? I need some pro help, thanks!
