Of course it’s hard to pick your favorite: there’s so many factors to it. But if someone forced me to choose one, this is the one I’d choose. I don’t think any game has such an equal mix of strong story and strong gameplay as this one, usually one of those is sacrificed for the other. It would easily be in my top 3 strongest game narratives and my top 3 games with the most satisfying gameplay, something I can’t say for any other video game I’ve played.

And I feel safe to say that there’s no longer any recency bias clouding my judgement. I only wish it got more exposure; it really hurts that so many gaming publications/reviewers refuse to acknowledge its existence despite the acclaim and popularity in the indie game scene.
