How to get out of the slump and prepare for peak marathon training weeks?

Hi guys! I’m running the Manila Marathon in a few weeks! Really excited kasi first full marathon ko ito.

I started my running journey last year April 2025, pero consistently training since Nov 2025. My 5k time prior to consistent training was at 28:47.

I train 4x a week. My structure usually is:
2 easy + 1 tempo + 1 long run then the following week is 1 easy + 1 tempo + 1 interval + 1 long run alternating siya + deload every 4th week.

I joined Ayala PH half marathon last feb and hit a sub-2 for my first half, then did a 5k time trial last march at 22:09.

Currently reaching my peak weeks ng marathon training pero lately havent been feeling good and missing some targets.

I took a 1 week break also two weeks ago kasi i was feeling pain on my lat arch on my left foot post-28km long run. Had to listen to my body so i told myself not to force it. Had it checked and nothing serious.

Have done 3 easy runs + a tempo sesh this past week with no pain. Just feeling a bit sluggish or is it really just a mental battle at this stage of training as well? Trust the process lang ba and keep moving until taper?

Goal ko naman talaga is to finish kasi first marathon ko nga naman. Bonus na lang kung maka sub-4.

How to get out of the slump? How do you guys prepare yourselves better during peak weeks like this? Mentally, physically, etc. Inspire me!
