I had an account three years ago that I’ll call Account B, where I posted content that violated Instagram’s rules. It wasn’t anything criminal, just photos with a sexual tone, but of course that goes against their policies. The thing is, this happened three years ago, and at that time Instagram sent me a warning and sanctioned the account. After that, I stopped using Account B and focused on my main account, which I’ll call Account A. On my main account I have never violated any rules—it’s completely clean. But yesterday I briefly logged into Account B just to look up a follower’s name, and out of nowhere Instagram displayed a message saying it had blocked all of my accounts due to their association with Account B. So now my clean Account A has been blocked simply because it’s linked to Account B, where I made a mistake three years ago—literally three years ago. Honestly, I find that disastrous.I’m really worried because on my main account I’ve built a community of 153K followers, brick by brick.
