I want to make this space feel modern and cozy. I plan to replace the rug with a larger one, the two single chairs with light colored barrel chairs and update the fireplace to a flat wall tile that reaches floor to ceiling among other decorative decisions. I need help addressing this white space (formerly our garage entrance). The left of it is the pantry which we will set in our refrigerator. I’m thinking a murphy style bar, but we will already have a butlers pantry. Perhaps some kind of full length closet? Help! It is in a transitional spot from kitchen to living room and faces the sunroom/dining room entrance head on.
