I can’t figure out what the instructions for this vintage pattern are telling me to do.

I’ve seen the sleeve side seams together.

I’ve sewn on the placket.

I’ve gathered the lower edge of the sleeve.

Interfacing was fused on with an iron, so no need to sew it.

I’ve turned in the seam allowance on the cuff and pressed.

And this is where it loses me.

Pin right side of cuff to wrong side of sleeve - stitch, trim, press. Check.

Fold cuff - right sides together - over the gathered edge and stitch ends. Check.

Then, in the next step, the cuff is somehow right side out?

What am I missing? Help?
