My business services more than 20 areas, but my Google Business Profile only allows a maximum of 20 service areas. I’m pretty sure back in the day you used to be able to set a radius, but now it forces you to choose specific locations.

So what is the best approach?

Select the areas closest to my office?
Or spread them out to better represent my overall service coverage?

Curious what others are doing here and what actually works best from an SEO / visibility perspective. If I was to select the 20 suburbs closest to my office that would be maximum 20 minutes drive to the furthest suburb and we'll travel up to an hour away.
