Hi,
Currently signing up as a Uber driver but got disqualified and need you guys help to navigate the issue which I believe is an error by Uber/Checkr.
I have:
- Class A driving Permit
- Normal driving license (Enhanced Driving License) from state of WA.
When they ran background check I got email from CheckR for pre-adverse action due to:
- "Candidate must be licensed to drive a passenger or commercial vehicle"
I think they are confused by seeing a permit and assuming I do not have driving license.
The same email also had a way to add more information for Uber to review so I added the above info with my DL to the report with hope that Uber would read it.
The next day I got a disqualification email from Uber.
I believe this is error by either CheckR or Uber. So far I have not been able to talk to a real person.
How can I get them to fix this issue? Please help.
