can i lie about who my supervisor was on a job application?

i worked at a retail store for a year, and the manager was really rude and mistreated the workers. i need to put a reference down for a job application and he was basically the owner/manager so the only person in charge i could put down. i don’t think he would give a very good reference if i put him down. would it be okay to put someone else in and have them pretend to be my former manager in case they called? i really need a job it’s hard right now

what kind of maintenance does a bioactive enclosure need?

i’ve been looking into getting a crested gecko and i heard that bioactive is the way to go. i’ve been doing a lot of research into the setup but one thing that i’m a little confused about is the maintenance one needs. i know you have to wipe the glass for their poops but that’s about it.

what does spot cleaning the enclosure look like? do you have to wipe down the bark for poops?

do you have to replenish the cleanup crew or do they breed and proliferate over time?

do you ever have to deep clean the enclosure? like taking it apart and replacing the substrate, branches, plants? i asked one reptile store worker if i could just keep my crested gecko in an appropriately sized and well adjusted bioactive enclosure forever and he said basically yes but his answer wasn’t very concrete.

also just a bonus question lol but are the custom backdrops necessary? is supplying the tank with many large branches and foliage not an appropriate substitute for it? just wondering because every bioactive enclosure i see has one

i hate that the only option for me at this point is to take testosterone to actually alter my biological state. i wish i could go back to prepuberty and take blockers for the rest of my life. ugh i know it’s unrealistic but i literally don’t know any other way i could feel “comfortable” with my body. i started developing really early on and i haven’t felt connected to my body since then. even in my dreams, i still look like my 9 year old self. i don’t feel any connection to gender or my body or anything, sometimes it feels like i’m not a person in the same way everyone else is or that there’s something inherently wrong with how i am. just sucks that this is my reality

i’ve been looking into getting a gecko and have done a lot of research into them and they all seem very similar, but i heard that some of them are more active hunters as opposed to the crested gecko? was just wondering what kind of experiences others have had with them :)
