So for a long time I debated being a douchebag and getting a pop and bang tune for my st. I got a catless downpipe, and have a mbrp exhaust with a resonator delete. I pretty quickly found out that you get great burbles and the occasional pop. My advice to anyone debating a pop tune: give a loud exhaust setup a chance. You get obnoxious noises, and you can still be happily annoying without potentially harming your engine and being way too over the top.
