Hello! Im writing my first ever fanfic and want to see if anyone would actually read this. Im trying to motivate myself lol, please bare in mind i have never tried writing before 😅
Okay, i have already changed just this section a surprising amount since i first wrote this post a vouple hours ago. Well, not changed but ive added to it haha. But i think im finally finished and happy with the first chapter, got 1732 words so far 💪
MOIRAI AND THE LAIR OF DEATH AND VIPERS SPOILERS!!!!
Okay, over a year ago, maybe 2, i started The moirai and the lair of death and vipers, however, i could not get that far in because i legit began to feel sick, like i managed to get through the blatant torture chapters but i did not get very far when he was given a bedroom n that, like idk if it was the manipulation, or the toeture mixed in with that...it might have just been that i couldt stomach it at the exact time i started reading it because ive never had an issue before, but i constantly see tiktoks and posts about it that make me wanna try again so baddd. Im just worried its gonna be just as horrid the second time around...tbf i dont even know what my question is? Does it get better? Does it take ages to get better? Should i try reading it again, like is it worth it?
Right, im kinda picky with my fics, especially drarry but...these are my requirements:
-Dont mind if theyre Ao3, Wattpad, or ff.net
-preferably 100k+ words, but 50k+ minimum
-Must be completed, i am a binge reader, i cannot wait for new chapter cos i will have forgotten everything that has happened already 🥲
-NO Mpreg
-Either top Draco, or switches (but please, no soft baby harry)
-not big on smut so no pwop, i dont mind if there is some but no loads
For the actual story:
- I love hogwarts era (dont mind which year it starts)
- love harrys trauma and mistreatment actually being acknowledged (i dont mind if its a big or small plot point)
-love some good relationship troubles (preferably draco hurts harry emotionally, can be accidental or on purpose cos we all know dracos personality)
-I LOVE secret relationship drarry, but like FULL secret, no one knows at all (no, not even ron or hermione)
- I dont mind bashing either, ive read many with bashing so long as it adds something to the story or plot
-love some good slytherin harry
-live for some jealousy or protectiveness (bot both can hold their own very well)
-honestly kinda love some unsupportive friends/family about the relationship
-Im not big on post war, i prefer pre or during war
-I have no issues w any side ships tbh
-love emotional pay off over a really fast relationship/get together, i like the before and building, the getting together, and then the relationship too, i dont like slow burns where it ends when the get together, but like dracos has to WORK to earn harrys trust/love
-loves some good angst, dont mind how angsty it is so long as the main focus is harry
I think thats all my requirements and what i like sooo praying theres loads of recs 🥲
