Hello,

Just trying to figure out some logistics while the news sinks in for our rental agreement. Unexpectedly but kind of not unexpected, we may have a 3rd occupant in our condo - aka newborn. I am trying to figure out whether the newborn counts as a 3rd occupant. Also whether the LL can evict us if their lease states only 2 occupants allowed? (I can't find our lease offhand so am unsure if it stated no 3rd occupant or we'd have to pay for a 3rd occupant).

Has anyone else gone through this? I just want us to be prepared as I don't want to stress unnecessarily.

Edited to add: Our condo bylaws have no such indication of a specific # of occupants allowed in the unit.
