Hey all,

I am a Chinese national and I currently hold a valid Australian Visitor Visa (subclass 600) — Business Visitor stream.

I’m planning to fly from New Zealand to China with a transit in Sydney, and I’m wondering whether I need to apply for a Transit Visa (subclass 771), or if my existing subclass 600 visa is enough for transit purposes.

Has anyone done something similar recently or had real-life experience with this?
