I got an 06 f150 with the 5.4 3v from my uncle for $600. He blew the engine so I was thinking of getting an engine from my local junkyard for about $150 if it turned over good. If I did end up doing that what should I do to ensure this engine will be good. Timing job and a better oil pump?
